Dr. Leasa Rose Hogan
Leasa earned a Doctorate of Ministry with an emphasis on spiritual formation and holds a Master's in Organizational Leadership. She is an Ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and pastors with her husband of 41 years in Oracle, Arizona. They have 3 grown children and 7 grandcuties. Her ministry includes building up ministers who labor for the Kingdom and facilitating renewal and restorative opportunities. Her unique approach to spiritual formation includes encountering God through creativity. Leasa also desires to reach underserved people in the addiction recovery community.
Our Mission and Values
Restoration Grace envisions creativity unleashed, renewing and refreshing the people of God. The mission includes bringing God’s truth and healing through artistic encounters. As we make space to pursue God, he shows up, and we encounter the Trinity. The result is a changed life.
We focus on renewing Christians through retreats, conferences, and workshops that foster creative encounters with God. Everyone, regardless of artistic talent, age, or social status, can meet with God in creative interactions.
Our Journey
Leasa founded Restoration Grace Retreat and Conference (RG), a public, non-profit charity, in 2017, which hosts creative adventures and events. The nonprofit connects discipleship and Kingdom advancement with her passion for artistic expression. RG brings together Kingdom builders and servant-leaders who seek a unique experience in connecting with God.
Retreats have included three-day events designed to refresh female ministers, two-day overnight events for female Christians, one-day vision board workshops with college students, and various meetups supplying art materials and space for creativity.
Groups such as the AZ Network Women in Ministry, Teen Challenge Home of Hope, Teen Challenge Springboard Home for Girls, Teen Challenge Men’s Facility in Tucson, Grand Canyon University, E5 Life Strategies, U of A Chi Alpha, and numerous church clubs are among those that have enjoyed the workshops.
She has also facilitated woodburning workshops for a Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) group and a mother/daughter retreat.
The creative process provides a unique way to connect with the Holy Spirit through artistic expression. The primary materials used for creativity include abandoned hymnals and Bibles, magazines, canvas, Mod Podge, and acrylic paint. Additional projects incorporate pyrography (woodburning), watercolor, various textiles, and needlework.
